MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDINGs (MOUs)

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by and between the Social Security Administration (SSA) (hereinafter called the Employer or SSA) and the American Federation of Government Employees (hereinafter called the Union or AFGE).

This MOU shall govern the procedures for the renegotiation ofa National Agreement between the Union and the Employer for employees included in the consolidated SSA/AFGE bargaining unit as certified by the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA). Neither party waives any of its statutory rights by entering into this MOU.

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into by and between the Social Security Administration, herein referred to as Management or the Agency, and the American Federation of Govemmcnt Employees, General Committee, herein referred to as the Union, regarding the Novel Influenza A virus (H IN1). The purpose of this MOU is to continue to provide for a safe and healthy work environment for bargaining unit employees during the HI N1 influenza season.
